UK Prime Minsiter Liz Truss removed a national ban on fracking and froze household energy prices Thursday. The country is facing a burgeoning energy crisis.

I was listening to the radio news today and they spoke of her responsibility when the Queen died, just two days into her term. She waited for a phone call from Balmoral Castle with the code words "London Bridge has fallen", at which time she had to personally call something like 26 other Prime Ministers with news of the death and that Charles was their new king, then notify I think 50 other secondary people before the news could be released to the public and other world leaders. That's one heck of a welcome to the job! Thank goodness they have people in charge of Protocol.
