My respects, John, but...

And if this bill gets to Trump's desk he'll sign it and make a YUGE deal about it because he will be able to say he "repealed Obamacare" despite really just replacing it with "Obamacare 95%".

Single payer will be here in less than 5 years.

I'm afraid so.

This was one of my issues with Trump from the start. He said in an interview that he would (not in so many words, but it's what he meant) go for single payer.

My opinion of Trump is known but in this case I think any of the Republican candidates except maybe Rand Paul would do the same in this case.

I agree that it is bad, but I would like for anyone to tell me which other candidate could have stopped it? I believe Ted Cruz would have wanted to, but in reality, he couldn't without both side signing off on it. If you think they hate Trump...they most certainly have no love loss for Cruz

None.
Both parties hate each other so much and want to "beat" the other and grandstand constantly everyone has forgotten the people that they should be working for and representing. It is all about themselves and winning. (and least what they consider winning...I do not feel as if I have won much.:dunno: )
