Muslim Cleric Caught Being Smuggled Across Mexican Border

Well, we thought this might be happening. This time they caught him. He is a scary fella in my book.

You have to ask yourself; if this guy was caught, how many haven't been? Napolitano is a liar when she continues to claim our borders are safe and secure. Think about this for a moment. The only reason this cleric was caught was because the border patrol agent, by luck, just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Granted, the securing the border is a complex issue because of the different terrain along it, but it's still possible to secure. Will we ever be able to stop every single person who comes across? No.

One way to help secure the border has nothing to do with the border itself. We need to take away the desire for people who want to immigrate here illegally. That's jobs folks. Interestingly enough, I read a news article the other day that the rate of unemployment amongst immigrants in this country is much lower than it is for the citizens of this country.

We need to drastically reduce the amount of immigrants we allow to come into this country. Because we currently have such high unemployment numbers, I'd set the number at 0 until we can get a handle on our economy. I would not renew any visas either.

News reports claim that lots of illegals from Mexico are returning to Mexico every day because they can't find jobs here because of the current economy. That simply means, if they can't get a job here, they don't want to be here. What we need to do is make it nearly impossible to get a job here while the economy is good or not.

Create legislation to be passed into law that fines an employer $10,000 and 5 years imprisonment for each illegal immigrant they employ and effectively enforce it. How to enforce it? Simple. Establish several hotlines in each state that citizens can call to report an employer who has illegal immigrants working for them. Offer a $5,000 reward to them. If you call the hotline because ACE Builders has illegal immigrants working for them and ICE agents discovers the company has ten of them; you get $5,000, the government fines ACE Builders $100,000. That leaves the government $95,000. Of course the government isn't going to get that money until after they successfully convicted the owners of ACE builders, but they would have to pay you once the arrests were made. In order to get the money, the government can seize ACE Builders assets to include the personal assets of the owners to collect the $100,000 in fines. How many employers are going to risk hiring illegals if the citizenry can collect rewards for turning them in; especially if the government effectively enforces this law?

I know quite a few former construction workers who lost their jobs because contracting companies began hiring illegals for less money. They would love to have those jobs back. Look at the costs we are incurring with illegals taking advantage of our social programs. Think about how we could start reducing our national debt by eliminating illegal immigration.

The beautiful thing about this legislation is, those employers who are fined are paying for the deportation of the illegals who worked for them as well as contributing to the costs to prosecute them. Notice the fine is $10,000 and/or five years imprisonment. The only plea bargain that would be accepted is, pay the $10,000 for each illegal found in your employ to avoid jail time. If you are convicted, you will pay the fine through seized assets if necessary and do five years consecutive for each illegal you had employed. If they had 10 illegals working for them, that would be $100,000 and 50 years in prison. How many juries are going to acquit an employer who hires illegals?

Democrats in Congress and this president would be opposed to my proposal. You see some elected Democrat at least once a week in the news complaining about how many jobs Americans have lost because American owned businesses have moved their production facilities overseas. How many times do you see a Democrat in the news complaining Americans are losing jobs located in our country to illegal immigrants? You don’t. What you hear from Democrats is, “Illegal immigrants are taking the jobs Americans don’t want.” Are they telling the truth or are they lying to us? For those of you old enough think back 25 years ago. How many Mexicans did you see working on any type of construction site? How many did you see working as landscapers? Where we would mostly see Mexicans working in this country was in the fields harvesting crops because they were seasonal jobs and Americans want full-time jobs.

The Democrats want illegals to be granted amnesty and given the right to become US citizens to increase their voter base. They really don’t want to stop illegal immigration because they want to be able to offer the same thing to future illegal immigrants. The Democrats don’t care if you have a job or not because they want you to become dependent upon the government.

We need to use our vote as a weapon against the Democrats. We need to use our vote as a weapon against any Republican who does not support securing our borders and forcing all illegal immigrants to leave our country. Our vote is very powerful when we are united.

You left out the draw of Anchor Babies. There is something being drafted to stop that. I think it is past time to stop it.
 
I agree. Send the anchor babies and their illegal immigrant parents back to the country they came from. If the anchor baby wants to come back after they are 18, the can; but they can't bring their law breaker parents back with them.

Except our president wants to grant amnesty to "those poor children" who were brought here by their parents and offer them a college education.
 
But he makes it sound like the American thing to do. Isn't everyone "entitled" to a college education?
