I cannot BELIEVE they are allowed to film and show this show ," SKINS". I knew nothing about it ( I dont watch MTV as an adult) until I heard over my shoulder on TV, Sean Hannity and Brian Bozell discussing it. I couldnt even concentrate on my typing on my computer. WHAT are we DOING to our culture? Its like the Roman orgies and debauchery that eventually was part of the DEMISE of that culture. Just go to MTV website and look up the show- it will shock you.. :'( >:D :mad:
 
I think I've seen it advertised, but didn't catch Hannity talking about it. I'm not surprised coming from MTV. And it's too bad. I remember the very early days of MTV and looked forward to tuning in when I got home from work early in the mornings. It really is a shame.

And people actually blame political speak for the condition of society? They are ill informed or just plain ignorant.

Yes, I think it's part of a master plan. Call me a tin foil hat nut if you want.
 
I went to the mtv website and looked at some of the trailers for this show. Unbelievable. No way in heck would I allow kids to watch this show.
 
I was of the high school generation when MTV started. It was something back then. Not always the greatest thing, yes, there were some things that were questionable. But THIS? Basically its a reality show ( ANOTHER reality show- WHEN are they going to DIE?) that depicts the life of a group of high school students- showing them drinking, doing drugs, and very unhealthy situations in regards to relationships and sex. Brian Bozell seemed to feel that SO much was showed- it was actually kiddie porn. Cant we DRAW THE LINE somewhere AS A SOCIETY??????
 
Ok, I gotta go ( I could go on and on about this..) my boyfriend is on right now , at least that is what my hubby calls him- ;)- I Love me some BILL O"REILLY! " Honey your boyfriend is on, are you going to come sit and watch him with me?" LOLOLOL
 
The entertainment industry as a whole is going to hell in a hand basket and they are trying to take as many of our kids with them as they possibly can! :mad:
 
I can remember when MTV was nothing but music videos being introduced by a VJ.
 
I would call any parent who would allow their minor children to watch this garbage, irresponsible. It's bad enough the Disney channel broadcasts shows with pre-teen and teen girls dressing like little hoochie momma's, which causes so many in their audience to want to dress that way.

Wiseguy, eh? LOL. I just dont see any kind of harness at all on TV. I wish...I wish you could pick and choose EXACTLY the stations you wanted from the cable company. Let them that roll around in the dirt have dirt.

I always wished they would offer that as well. That would be too easy, though, not to mention it would defeat their agenda of bombarding our kids with filth and trying to brainwash them into growing up with their morals, or lack of I should say.

I suggest it every time I call to change our plan. I guess they are thinking if it is there then someone, anyone will watch it. I have it blocked.

Yes, MTV is corrupting our children. Well trying to anyway. I did hear that one of the actors is 15 and that is how they are going to get them. I do wonder how many parents allow their kids to listen to "music" with the F word and other things in it will be upset about this program?
 
I don't remember the last time I watched anything on MTV. Most of it to me is not worth watching.
 
I read there was a law suit against them. In the suit the show is called "porn". One of the girls in it is supposed to be 15 and the suit addresses that too. It is shocking that they even produced it for TV! :eek:

I haven't seen the show, so I don't know if it is bad or not. I know everyone is talking about how terrible it is, but I can't comment on weather it is as bad as they all say.
