@MrsB I just read The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins It is really good and one I believe you will like. The story is told from 3 characters perspectives and you have a hard time knowing which one is telling the truth. :)) I did figure it out about mid way, though it was a hunch and I was not 100% sure I was right. If you read it I would love to read your thoughts on this thriller.

This is her debut novel and is being compared to Flynn. I do not think it is as good as any of Flynn's, but for a first novel, it is excellent.

Hi MrsB :hiya
:)) Now you have to read the book. I actually think you would like this book.
Maybe.
But I have 3 biographies and one book on the battle of Custer's last stand that I am in the middle of.
Plus I bought 15 books last week at the Goodwill and used book store.
Also, I have pre-purchased another biography that will release in a week on my Kindle.
I'm kinda booked up.
(pun intended)

Can any of you recommend a good coloring book? Preferably one without too many words?

Speed Racer

Ooohh! Thank you! I will check this out. I have wondered about it, and if I'd like it. I'll read this next, after I finish what I'm reading now.

Well, crap - the quote thingy won't work. Diva - who Flynn? Vince, or somebody else?
Gillian Flynn. Gone Girl, Sharp Objects, Dark Places. Both Mrs.B. and I really like her books.

Got it.

Mei Lan, if you've never read any of her books, you should! Gillian Flynn has been likened to Stephen King. She's very dark, and very good at weaving a story. I wish shed hurry up with another!

I might check her out. I don't normally do well with dark, BUT some dark I can handle (Edgar Allen Poe was a favorite of mine as a kid). Thanks for the info!

I love her. Once I read Gone Girl I immediately bought her other two and devoured them. And Gone Girl, while good, was my least favorite of the three. (Although I loved all of them!)

SHOEDIVA! A girlfriend of mine recommended this to me a while ago, and then this thread reminded me of
It. Anyway, I got it late last night, and I'm about 1/4 through it. Oh my goodness this is good!

Did you picture Rachel as Cate Blanchett? Idk if that is spelled right. And I picture Megan as Megan Fox, and I think she is having an affair with Tom and not her therapist and Anna did it and is going to frame Rachel! This is wonderful! Hahaha!

:laugh It is very good. I did sort of see Rachel as Cate! I did not think of Megan as M.Fox, but that is good.

I have to put it down for now, but please don't let it be Rachel. I love her and my heart breaks for her!

So... My kindle is charging while I put kiddo to bed. My house is not clean, but at least picked up and there's no dishes in the sink and I did one load of laundry. Lol in between preparing meals and playing outside with BabyB (and during when he entertained himself) Ive been reading. It's been a while since I've read a book I'm unable to put down.

I'm 76% finished, and I'm really sad. I don't want it to end. But I do - I must know what has happened!!! I will report back later this evening when I'm finished.

There's a lot of drinking in this book. LOL
