Interesting. This guy was a Soros lacky... but he seems to have some real world smarts which has seen him go over to a conservative force. He apparently ran against Gavin in 2018 for Governor as a dem, in 2022 as an independent (I did not hear about him). He supported a republican against Gavin in the 2021 recall. He has some interesting takes on the republicans and why they fail. He has been involved with helping Brazil maintain free speech with the internet through "X".
