Looks like Islamic Terrorists are at it again!!! I'm just shocked....

After the recent arrests for the Paris bombings it unfortunately is no surprise.
 
Sorry, but your flippant sarcasm is really repulsive when some of us are waiting to hear from friends. Not one person here and it is here I am speaking of, defend any terrorists or ISIS.
As JMan said no one is surprised. No one thinks that ISIS is suddenly going to go away, but as I wait to hear from my other friends (one family has already "checked in") people making flippant comments on the "shocking", "peaceful", nature of this occurrence .... SMH
 
I have to agree with what one annalist mentioned this morning. Of course ISIS isn't happy about the recent arrest, but he believed this attack was in the works prior to the arrest and may have been a diversion for the remaining group to flee the country since the authorities were getting too close. No excuse of course, but made sense with the timing and all. Pretty impressive for the J V team, right? :cool:

Thank you. Second family just checked in. Apparently she was having phone issues. It was scary because I definitely thought of my friend P. first because of what she does there and why she is there and she posted to all of us fairly quickly and has kept sharing her post for any that might not have seen it. The other family is one that just moved there to move there and they were not posting or answering texts. But all is okay with my friends. I am thankful and blessed that they were not harmed. My heart just breaks for others that will not receive the same news I did. :(

It's be perfectly fine with me if he closed the boarder down like a steel trap for a good period of time. It's been done before. Even then, God only knows how many are already here thanks to the politically correct, inclusionary policies of both the dems and repubs over the last three or four decades. Thanks guys!

This is when I really love Facebook. I am not sure if anyone else has friends in the area, but they have a check in page that pops into your news feed if you are in the area to tell friends you are safe and everyone on your friends list gets a notification of your safety.

The irony is that we have no border to close, and even if we did, this attack shows that plans, materials, and personnel were in place long before the attack was carried out.

I have no problem with defending our borders consistently and going after the terrorists when we find them. I do have a problem with using panic and hyperbole to disrupt the activities of daily life and calling that security, when it is nothing of the sort. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

The "crisis" phrase is from the bowels of the democrats. Problem is, the dems don't know what a real crisis is. I'm just not following the no border to close perspective. It's hard to deny that Trump mentioned Brussels a while back but you know, the kook everyone says he is, what does he know?

Wow!

Many of our politicians have bent over backwards to downplay the dangers of Islamic terrorism. Many won't even use the term. So I understand where he was coming from.

I'm sorry that you have friends that might have been affected by this, and I pray that they are OK. But your response to BS was not nice at all. Perhaps you should revisit this.
