Supposedly she is from the Conservative Party. Truth be told, it will be near impossible for things to get better for the British people,,, they have been living in socialism for too long. When everything is free, taxes are sky high and everyone fights for a piece of the after tax pie that gets smaller each year. Now they have little left to stave off high energy costs and soon to be higher labor costs and nothing to shore up their dismal free medical system without raising taxes again. It's a vicious cycle with no hope without a magic wand.

Yes... I heard they will make a rent freeze and a cap on what each household has to pay for their energy.

...plans to cap energy bills at a cost to taxpayers of as much as 100 billion pounds ($116 billion), British news media reported Tuesday. She is expected to unveil her plan on Thursday.
 
The public has been so conditioned to the Govt, not the free market, being the solution to problems, they refuse to wait for the market to figure out how to fix this, they just want the Govt to pay the difference.

Funny thing, once someone hits the cap, then all energy is free right? So they have zero reason to conserve to try to be green right?

Wonder how that will work out?
