If you mean I don't throw a vote away for a candidate with no chance of winning, I guess you're right.

You've made it clear that you'll vote for DeSantis in the primary. Last I checked, he's a Republican. And you would vote Republican in the general election if Trump wasn't the nominee. Instead, I'm pretty sure you'll throw your vote away.

So go ahead and tell me how that makes the Republicans better?

First and foremost, I'm a conservative who has defended the Constitution. I won't support a candidate who puts himself ahead of the Constitution and this country. Trump puts himself first and foremost. The problem is you can't seem to see that, or perhaps you do and choose to ignore it.

Trump will not be good for the country serving a second term. He's all about getting even with those he feels are persecuting him. Revenge is his motivation. Do you really believe Trump when he says he can resolve the Russia-Ukraine war in 24 hours? Do you believe him when he says he is the only one who can save the United States and the world?

You do realize the Abraham Accords really were not a big accomplishment, don't you? Neither the UAE nor Saudi Arabia had any desire to do any harm to Israel. The accords did not bring peace to the Middle East. All you have to do is look at what is going on now. Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey would like to see Israel gone. If Trump were the great deal maker and the only person who could save the world, why weren't those countries in agreement with the Abraham Accords? Trump is all smoke and mirrors.

Is Trump a man of faith? Heck no. He believes he does not have to ask God for forgiveness because he never does anything that needs forgiveness. His words.

Sorry but that’s BS but if you want to believe it that’s your right so own it. Good grief.

If you honestly feel that way then by all means do what you claim Trump supporters will do if he’s not on the ticket…stay home and pout. Draw the line in the sand and hold to your principles. I assure you, he doesn’t need your vote this time around.

I won't stay home and pout. I'll vote for who I feel is the most qualified candidate, and I don't see that being a Democrat or Trump.

Do you actually believe it will be a Biden/Harris ticket? The Democratic leadership knows that it will be a losing ticket, and they'll use their super delegates to make sure they have a stronger candidate.
 
Anyone who is active on this site should know I am no fan of DJT. I find him a man of no character or sense of morality. That is a personal belief based on his actions. Personality aside what really bothers me is his negative effect on democracy and the status of this country. All the negative childish noise he brings with him makes our once great system of government and elections look like a tribal meeting on Survivor. Third world countries look good compared to our BS drama centering around leadership. Their are great threats to democracy out there worldwide and they are laughing their collective asses off at our current POTUS and the presumed front runner that will challenge him. Our forefathers and actual fathers,brothers, children, grand children, relatives have fought and some died to protect democracy. This really irks me. These politicians and power brokers could care less about democracy they are narcissistic cancers to our country.
Back to the OP Fanny Willsex is a disgrace to the office of DA and a political pawn to the Democratic party. The demographics of her region is the only reason she was ever elected DA. These same stupid people don't realize the millions of tax dollars her witch hunt is costing them. Then again I suspect a large portion of them are solely supported by other peoples tax dollars so they really don't care.
 
I respect your opinion, we each have them and although different should be respected none the less. I do have to ask if you really believe our leadership demise began with Trump? To clarify, you feel it’s a recent turn of events that has occurred within the last 7 years? I’m asking respectfully and not to offend or agitate anyone.
 
Absolutely not. Politics has been cut throat since the beginning of time. I do not have a time machine to go back to previous elections so my current opinion is based on current events. DJT did not not start the demise of this country's electoral process but his childish actions and arrogance absolutely contributes to the current state of politics. He is in a position to be one of the greatest leaders in the history of the U.S. but instead he lowers himself to childish name calling and eighth grade tirades. Whether he is right or wrong he is a lightning rod for negative press from an already biased media and quite frankly often looks like a buffoon. I have a low tolerance for persons who lack character and DJT lacks plenty.

I wholeheartedly agree. The other presidential embarrassment is Biden. He is aging quickly, and it shows. Our enemies see we have no real leadership right now with a president suffering from Dementia. I'm sure many of our allies are worried about us having a president who can't remember what direction he is to take to leave the stage or leave a room.
