Sounds like a scandal for sure. The governor should step in and stop this trial and apologize to Trump.

Trump threw a lot of insults at Kemp. Do you really expect Kemp to run interference for Trump, especially since he may be a Senate candidate?
I"m not sure if Kemp would have any jurisdiction over this. But if so, should his actions be based on whether or not orange man was mean to him, or what the law says?

Maybe you should read my post again, that's part of what I was asking. I'm not sure he has that authority.

The governor cannot grant clemency. He also cannot remove a prosecutor, that's up to a commission.
Then why was it necessary to bring up how Trump insulted Kemp?

Kemp may not have legal authority, but he could start making public statements about it that might have indirect influence. Kemp, having been the victim of Trump's past insults, might decide it isn't worth the scrutiny to make those public statements.
Kemp generally doesn't get involved in drama. Which is probably wise

Ok, so maybe I stirred the pot a little, but seriously, this DA brought charges against Trump to further her own political career. It has nothing to do with law and order.

You start a topic about the DA who indicted Trump because it appears she has done something illegal. How did you NOT expect Trump not to be brought into the discussion? As far as petty insults toward DeSantis, you've made quite a few of them. One thing you have definitely proven. You would vote for a monkey in a suit if he had an R after his name. That's exactly how the GOP ends up with bad candidates so many times.
No, I've pointed out legititimate concerns over DeSantis. And when I do, you get your period.
I've never made petty insults because I actually do like the guy. But I also realize he has very little chance of winning.
