I think every boy my age wanted one of these for Christmas in 1964. I was happy as heck when I got one.
 
I was in the second grade in '64. The teacher allowed us all to bring something we received for Christmas. I think half the boys in my class brought their Johnny Seven. Recess was a blast that day.
