Since Trump has taken office, the Republicans have not done enough to pass legislation that will please conservative voters. This certainly includes health care. As I said in an earlier post, the Republicans have proven they never did have a health care plan as they claimed they did. If the Republicans do not get off their asses and start passing some sound legislation, a large number of conservative voters will see them as the Republicants and this will hurt them next year.
Next year in senate races, 23 Democratic seats and two independent seats that caucus are on the ballots for re-election. The Republicans have 8 seats on the ballots. If you recall, the Republicans lost 2 senate seats in 2016 and currently holds the majority with 54 seats. The GOP stands a very good chance of losing the majority in the senate next year. I predict if they continue down the road they are currently on of not getting anything done, they will lose their majority.
The Republicans were either ignorant to what the voters were saying when they elected Trump or they just didn't care. Either way they need to start paying attention to what the conservative voters want.
