I used to think my dad was a little out there. He was a HUGE Ayn Rand guy. But I now see more going on than is healthy for any country.
Living in California, has especially brough the whole mess so much closer in time and actual government action against it's citizens... it is also a reminder FJB administration is doing to us exactly what California is doing to me currently. That is why I need so desperately for people in other states to take seriously what is happening here and in New York for instance... because next it will be on your door and we will not be able to beat it back.
I used to tell my mom, California is so embarrassing the things they vote for and allow the government to do. I hated to admit I was from California. I was a San Diegan, and we were politically conservative in my town.
Well, now that there are very few people not first generation immigrants or second generation from shit hole countries in San Diego, it is a kakistocracy (a government run by unprincipled career politicians, corporations and thieves that panders to the worst vices in our nature and has little regard for the rights of American citizens) No one identifies as an American... they wrap themselves, literally, in the flag of the country they immigrated from.
