When I have to explain to Daughter Colson why I'm referring to a large number if I refernce Carter's liver pills?

She asked who Pete was the other day when I said, "For the love of Pete". I really didn't know that one.

She asked a few weeks ago who Cox was and why did he have an army :dunno

When my son was around 6yrs old, we were watching an Abbott & Costello movie.
Of course the movie was in black and white, I was telling my son about how when I was his age our tv only showed black & white.
This impressed him greatly.
After a few minutes he asked; Dad, when you were real little did they have electricity?
I replied; Yes son they did. But not when your grandma was a kid, ask her to tell you about it.
I guess a it was a few weeks later when I got a call from my mother asking why I told my son they hadn't invented electricity yet when she was a kid.

I love it when a plan comes together.

My Dad used to say there was enough food at Thanksgiving to feed Cox's Army. Who is this elusive Cox fellow? :dunno

When my two oldest were little my sister told them to ask me if we drove horses and buggies when we were little. My oldest who was about 7, said of course they did. Kids are so funny!! ;D
