I am not familiar with what has happened in the past there, or their laws. Do you know if something occurred to have this authorization available to the Governor? It does not seem as if it is to shoot Irma but to maintain peace after. IDK

I'm not 100% certain but I haven't heard of any governmental agency confiscating property or weapons in the Houston area after Harvey. I just think it's strange that before Irma even hits this guy has already set the stage for property seizure. I'm all for keeping the peace and understand unusual measures are sometimes necessary during an emergency. (I was joking about shooting Irma).

It's a "Shoot At Irma" event scheduled for Sept 10th.

I guess my comment about their master plan wasn't too far off.
