Been going for over a week now without getting enough sleep, and I really felt it catching up with me the last couple of days.

Being that it's cold and rainy out, I was in no hurry to get up today. Slept until after 12:00. Been a long time since I've gotten that much sleep, but it felt glorious.
 
My power went out last evening, around 9 PM...
Missed watching the Soccer team win it all...
Good for the soccer team BTW!

After checking things and driving down the street, found a fuse blown on a pole. Figured the utility folks would have it back on in a few hours... so went to bed around 10 PM... did not bother with the generator (would have to stay up and monitor it, it is portable).
Got a good nights sleep.
Clock that is not battery backed up, after doing some math... it appears the power came back on somewhere in the midnight area...
House did not get too cold.

IMO we all need a day off to rest now and then... good for the soul as well as the body!
