I guess it doesn't fit the narrative

Oh, dear...

Does not sound very promising for the outcome of the 5 year old.

Wonder what background the perpetrator has. I bet we will find out he has had a life long history of aggression and odd behavior, but was never given mental health assistance. Mostly because there no longer is a way to help mental people in our country because we out their rights above the rights of citizens safety.

Of course had he shot the kid... we would be seeing it all over the media with calls for gun seizures.

Yep... mental issues:
Boy Thrown From Mall Of America Balcony ‘Continuing To Fight’

His uncle said Aranda’s mom tried to get him help, but when he turned 18 it wasn't up to just her anymore.

“My nephew he had mental problems for a long time, for a very long time,” Aranda’s uncle said. “He needed help for a really long time.”

His uncle says Aranda moved to Minnesota to be closer to his sister.

Child Thrown From Mall Of America Balcony; Suspect Emmanuel Aranda Has Past Convictions Connected To Mall

Aranda, who is being held on suspected attempted homicide, had been banned from Mall of America in the past, and was charged and convicted of misdemeanors in two separate incidents at the mall in 2015. In July of that year, Aranda was charged with causing damage inside stores, throwing items off of a balcony to a lower level and resisting arrest. Aranda was then charged in October of that year for throwing a glass of water and a glass of tea at a woman inside of Twin City Grill after she refused to buy him food.

Aranda was also charged in August of 2015 with destroying computers in a north Minneapolis library. According to the criminal complaint, Aranda told officers that “he has some anger issues,” and that, “it does not happen all the time.”

I would like to see him charged with a hate crime. He is black the boy is white. As obviously racially motivated as many of the hate crimes the left cries about. Another example of the "system" failing the general public. This guy should have been locked up in jail or institutionalized. I do think it is tragic and my prayers go out to the family of the victim.

I'm not a fan of the concept behind hate crimes. IMO, a crime should be wrong because of the act being committed, not because of what emotion is driving it. One of my issues with hate crimes is that they too often seem to be selectivity enforced.

Back to this issue...yes, it's a horribly tragic one and the man should have the full weight of the law thrown at him. But I go back to my original point...why has this seen so little media time? Had the perp been a white guy throwing a black kid off a building (equally bad, I will make clear), it would be on every front page, every TV set, and every internet site.

Our media is biased and corrupt.

This is a horrible thing... and looking at the face of the accused... there seems to be an attitude problem in his eyes...
The legal system needs to make an example of him... seriously!
In another thread... we discussed what happens when a person convicted of sexually abusing a child ends up in a 'seriously bad boys prison'...
IMO this guy needs to be sent there!

Last fall, I think I posted at a few forums something like:
How much pain does society have to suffer, before they quit sitting on their hands and do something about the growing evil???
It is indeed sad the level of evil we are suffering... and I truly hope folks will wake up sooner rather than later...
And put a stop to this horrible direction our country is going.
(And NO, getting rid of Trump is not the answer)
