I figured out how to make it rain

Drag out about 400 feet of hose and a bunch of sprinklers and start them watering the yard.

Now it's pouring over here.

MrsB- I have no idea what they speak of either. Hubster watered the crap out of the garden today and a couple hours later I heard thunder.... NOTHING!!! Not one freaking drop. Usually watering does the trick but I swear that we live in the desert of Dallas. :rant

Oh it poured over here. And the wind blew something turrible! It must have done something to my roof 'cause I have a wet spot on the ceiling next to the fire place.

Or you could forget to unplug the condensate pump when you pull the hose ...
I have no idea what you're saying. LOL
The air conditioner creates a good bit of condensation when it runs. In order to keep from creating an unplanned pool in the basement, there is a pump unit connected to the A/C. The condensation collects in a little box and when it reaches a certain level a pump automatically turns on and sends the water threw a hose up to the ceiling level in the basement, over to the outside wall, down the wall, then out through the wall and away from the house. I was doing some maintenance work on that set up today and had the hose disconnected but did not unplug the pump from the electrical source so when the water in the box reached the right level the pump kicked on and water shot out through the top of the box with much prejudice.

Thank you!! Lol that makes perfect sense!

Many apologies for my denseness.

I'm not but 10 minutes (if that) south of you, and I'm starting to think the same thing. Our house is on a hill, and we sit and watch some of the nastiest stuff roll in from Alabama (weather, I mean, though the peeps are nasty, too) and we get nothing. We've had two good rains here in a little over 2 months: one on Mother's Day, and the other when we were first moving in - I had to chase boxes down the street into the cul de sac.

But we get some wicked wind here.
