I.am.awesome. AWESOME!

The in-laws stayed an extra night due to weather, and MIL baked a ham Saturday and we had some left. And I still had a bunch of vegetables left from my chicken noodle soup. Sooooo....

I made a delicious vegetable chowder, having to only buy cheese and broth, with ham sliders in a poppy seed mustard sauce that were to die for. Cost:$4.00 for cheese and broth. MrB declared it the best meal I've ever made.

GAWD, I love me. I rock the kitchen.

LOL Thanks! I was super excited at how well it all turned out. I still have a ham bone in the freezer... I'll be making something with that. I'm on a roll. Lol

You are doing a great job in the kitchen! :firstplace

Sounds great. One thing I love about cooking a big ham there are soo many things you can use it for leftovers, over, and over again.

Good job mrsB!!! You really impress me with the ideas you have in the kitchen. I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never made a ham. :(

Ham bone + split peas = split pea soup! One of mine and my husband's favorites!
