I'll have to bookmark that recipe and give it a try sometime. I do love fried chicken, but would prefer it without being cooked in all that grease.

If he expects me to cook, then I expect him to put out. It didn't work out so well for me when we were first married, but now that he's old and tired... :laugh

IKR? I love, love, love to cook!

HB, let us know how it was! I like KFC, but it's rare I get it. It's been so greasy the last few times I've gotten it. (which was already rare, lol)

Anxious to see how it turned out. I liked the old KFC but I'm sure it's because they used oil with trans fats. I think I would add some poultry seasoning (just a little) and it might be even better.

I love to cook, I love it more when a bunch of us get together and cook for holidays. The time we spend in the kitchen together is wonderful. I was thinking about that the other day. Before my mom & dad and daughter moved here, they'd spend the night with us and we'd be in the kitchen cooking all day. It's not the same, now they just come on over and bring what they made.

The chicken breast strips were very good.

Juicy and moist, great flavor, not greasy.
I would make these again... two thumbs up.
