What movie/s have you seen that you think are funny?
I know each of us has a different idea of humor, so what's yours?

You, and I would probably agree that "Animal House" not funny. Dumb, and dumber really stupid.

Blasphemy!
Yes, maybe.....but I did find some of both "Porky's" films funny.

Thumbs down on all of the above. But Airplane! is one of my very favorite movies. (I'm not ShoeDiva, but I answered anyway.) I have a really oddball sense of humor. I love Mr. Bean, Monty Python, Far Side, most Brit humor, the Marx Brothers, the Three Stooges, Dilbert, Janet Evanovich, Dave Barry, and PJ O'Rourke. Among others that shall occur to me later.

Agreed.

I would have to think on that. I do not usually seek out comedy movies because most I find not to be funny. It is juvenile behavior from adults for a laugh. Many of the "comedy" movies I have seen just seem as if they person is trying and it is not natural for them to be funny.

I read many authors that are funny to the point if I am reading at night I have to leave the room so I do not wake up my husband! :)) I find LisaC hilarious! You are almost always going to laugh or crack a smile with her writing here!

I also enjoy most comedy clubs. If you can stand on a stage and make an audience just laugh, odds are you are pretty funny.

I'm starting to see the problem....................Gray skies are clearing up....................... :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh

I laugh at everything..so I find all types of movies funny. My father in law used to always tell me, I think you would laugh at the phone book if someone read it out loud. :))

I have no idea what you are trying to say. :dunno

I'm not a big movie person, they are mostly all made up stuff. Give me a good comedy and I'll watch it. Laughter is good for the soul!! Dumb and Dumber was a ridiculous movie but I went with my daughter, my sister and her daughter to see it, they were both 19. We had so much fun just laughing and acting like silly girls that I will always have a chuckle every time I see a clip or the actual movie.

Taping the bird together was hysterical!! The IOUs in the suitcase reminds me of the government and Social Security. The whole movie is just a flood of good memories even though it wasn't the best of movies.

Airplane has the same effect on me, it was one of the first movies I remember watching with my kids and they were cracking up!! It's a Mad, Mad World is also one of those with fond memories.

I like to laugh, it makes life much easier. ;D

I have a wide range of humor. Most of the time, I don't love slapstick comedy, but I can enjoy it in the right company.

There are many things that can make something funny. Cultural, situational, unexpected, dry wit, silly haven't slept in days, etc. It's hard to pin down one type of comedy I enjoy!

I was telling my husband this morning that I need to watch The Three Amigos again. It was such a silly movie, but I loved it! I adore Mel Brooks, too - he makes me laugh out loud.

Most of the time I enjoy quick wit and sarcastic humor. Something that always makes me laugh is Stuart!

Mad TV Stuart Goes To The Doctor

Unfortunately, there are those who "think" they have a sense of humor but in all reality, they don't. Laughter is truly the best medicine.

This is to? ? ? ?

I have also noticed a few online that "think" they are funny, which online is very hard to truly tell ( voice delivery and facial expression are missing), and those that "try" much too hard to be funny or interesting.

It was just a general statement.

I tell 13yo that I'm a comedy genius. He just smiles, and waves. Not really sure what that's about.

My ex loves the Brit stuff, I just don't get it. Now, I do think Tim Conway, and Harvey Korman were the most hilarious act I have ever seen. (God rest both their souls.) I do think Jeff Dunham is funny as heck. We will put in one of his CDs and just laugh our butts off. Then there is Engvial, and Foxworthy, they're funny. Larry the cable guy, and that Ron White guy, not so much.

I have found that things I didn't find funny when I was younger I do now. Could be that I get it. I used to not get "The Golden Girls" now I do.

I do not find any one funny that has to use the "F" word every time to get a laugh. I also do not find raciest jokes funny, NO matter who tells them.

Thank you. That takes zero talent. I saw part of a Dane Cook thing one night while on vacation once, and I can tell he could be really funny, but the "blueness" of his work was just a turnoff.

PS - Tim Conway is still alive. He's the voice of Barnacle Boy on SpongeBob. :D Ernest Borgnine, voice of Mermaid Man on SpongeBob, was alive till this summer. I think he was like 95 or so.
