Hawaii Bill Would Release Obama Birth Records

Yeah, but how hard would it be for the Democrat-controlled Hawaiian government to create a birth certificate? Even if he was born in Hawaii as he and friends claim, why is it such a big deal for him to simply produce the birth certificate rather than a use newly printed certificate of live birth? It would easily put the whole fiasco to rest.

The fact that he won't release it bothers me more than anything.

Exactly. If there isn't something fishy there, why not release it? Why would you want to give your critics ammunition that isn't true if you can easily disprove their claims? Too many things just don't add up.

If it were me, I'd just release and put the matter to rest as well as embarrass those who made such a big deal of it.

What do you think of the theory that he was adopted by his step-father and his last name isn't actually Obama?? And that (possibly) also explains why his college papers aren't being released is that all of his information is in his step-father's last name and he received special college aid as a "foreign" student that he might actually have to pay back if it was fraudulent.

Those are some of the many interesting questions that have come up; questions that neither Obama nor his party have been able to satisfactorily answer. Every time one of these questions gets asked, a stone wall gets thrown up. Very fishy. I think all of this could bring the enforcement of Article II Section 1 of the Constitution into question; it seems from this that the US Government has no power to verify the proof of qualifications that presidential candidates submit.

U.S. Constitution - Article 2 Section 1
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
