Gone with the Wind was my favorite book ever!! Imagine my delight when I actually moved to the place it was written!! As I'm driving around I often think about the description of the landscape and I keep hoping I'll see Tara around the bend. :love

I cook, sometimes..........in the summer not as much. Lots to do outside. I'm cooking today 'cause it's raining. Ribs, aparagus and roasted potatoes. Tomorrow ham, beans and cornbread. If I had some bananas I'd even make nanner pudding. They'll just have to settle for a pie. :)

I think I'm going to roast it and make some hollandaise sauce to pour over it. :)

Maybe it won't be too bad. :pray

I'm not that kind of a chick-flick gal, either. (Homey don't do sap.) IMHO, Steel Magnolias and Fried Green Tomatoes are a little too...contrived for my taste. Well done, but just not my cup o' tea. GWTW isn't my cup o' tea, either; HOWEVER, it would bear watching simply because it is such a classic. The book is better, but I have my quarrels with Margaret Mitchell's depiction of certain things. And I HATED Scarlett O'Hara. HATED HER.
