Great Movie Line, Interesting Movie, Great Actor.
Name the Actor and the Movie.

"Charlie don't surf!"

I thought this one was an easy one.

Movie: Apocalypse Now
Actor: Robert Duval

Here is another great line by Duval from the same movie. (I know you will remember this one)

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning......The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like victory."

My all time favorite movie line:

"I must've started off to Mardi Gras six or seven times. Never got further than the state line."

I find him to be an interesting director, I am not sure I would use the word like.
I enjoyed watching the two movies that I have seen, 'Pulp Fiction' and "Reservoir Dogs' not so much because I liked the plots, but because of the way he shot and cut the movies.
Very interesting.

I enjoy his dialogue... Jackie Brown is my favorite.
The trailer for Django Unchained looks awesome... 8)

I love movies, but sadly in my opinion they just do not make any really good movies anymore.
Ok, once in while there is a good one, 'The Usual Suspects' comes to mind, but for the most part in my view they lack two important things, plot and dialog.
ETA: You are right about the dialog in the QT movies, it is better than most out there.

I watch mostly older movies, my family laughs at me when I tell them I have new movie for them to watch, because it is usually from the early 80's.
My wife keeps saying it is not a new movie, they (her kids) weren't even born when that movie came out.
My son has followed in my and his grandfathers footsteps and loves the older movies.
One last note, if you will not watch a movie because it is in black and white, you are missing most of the greatest movies ever made, along with some of the greatest actors.

(I know, more info than anyone cares to know, but remember, pain pill :)) )

I love old movies and you are correct that really great new releases are very rare indeed.
Once in a while I will find a rare gem... but that magic seems elusive these days.

I knew I liked you!!! I LOVE older movies. Here are two of my favorite movie lines ever:

Well, I can't find a clip of the first one, so I'm substituting another favorite scene instead. The favorite line is from "White Christmas" and Danny Kaye has fixed Bing Crosby up with a real ditzy blonde, about which Crosby is not happy. Kaye says, "So she didn't go to Smith." Crosby says, "Go to Smith? She couldn't even spell it!" :D :D :D

the best thing happen while your dancing - white christmas

And then there's this all-time classic:

Zombies and Democrats
