'Em 'ar wuz some hard times for many/most people. Many were poor, few options for change, married people who lived nearby, worked sunup to sundown, worked like a dog doing things like plowing fields and washing laundry by hand in the creek, several kids often died in one family due to health problems that have a simple fix today...many reasons. You can see the suffering on the faces. It's no wonder that about 100 years ago, the average life expectancy was 47. Even skewed lower by higher infant mortality rates, that's an astonishing number.

I would, but supposedly this is a PG13 forum. At least I thought it was, but, I have recently seen some pics of women possibly touching their naughty bits and moaning about some fella named Friday. So, I guess anything goes now right?
