:spitchick It almost looks like one of my fondue pots, without the bowl on top.

Yea, I have three fondue pots, one electric, 1 with an alcohol burner and 1 with a candle warmer. I'm thinking some marshmallows in first, kisses on top, scooped out with a spoon, placed on a the graham cracker would work!!

I love fondue and fondue parties! I have 7 or 8 and I borrow my in laws so I can have ten going without having to clean anything in between courses. Our of curiosity, which do you prefer, electric, alcohol, or candle?

I like the electric ones for melting, but can sometimes get too hot. To me, the alcohol ones do a better job of keeping the cheese or chocolate hot without burning it. The candle ones never distribute the heat evenly enough for me.

I like the alcohol ones best too. I do not mind the electric ones and luckily I only have one candle one. I hate that one. It always has hot spots!

I "loaned" both of mine (alcohol and electric) to a friend who not only never returned them, she took them with her when she moved out of state!!

1. I have never owned an ashtray
2. It would set off the fire sensors at work
3. I would be too tempted to burn the big pile of paper on my desk if I were to build a fire.
