Full Circle...

A columnist for the post has said flat out that his vote with the Democrats on gun control and healthcare is far more important to women than his personal transgressions against women. The same kind of thing, but in opposite world, is being said about Roy Moore's vote on abortion. The moral of the story is that there are no morals when it comes to partisan party politics.

Let's be honest for just a moment, I'm sure the ranks of those in Congress and the Senate are full of those guilty of inappropriate behavior. Money and power is often followed by bad decisions and camera pics, video, and audio can and will come back to bite you.....eventually.

This crap has been going on for decades; only now is it really coming out. We knew about elected officials such as JFK who fooled around, but for some reason it wasn't such a big deal as it is now. Teddy was at least as bad, and even killed his secretary/lover in a suspicious car crash.

Are we better or worse now?

If it helps to drain the swamp, I'm all for it. But I have my doubts that when the dust settles, it will make that much difference.

Robert Kennedy fooled around as well. Need I remind you, the Kennedys were Democrats and Democrats are held to a different standard than Republicans?

Rumor has it that Bobby was boinking Jackie while JFK was doing Marilyn.

Bit of an oxymoron there with swamp and dust in the same sentence. ;)
