Ford is looking better and better

This guy is an idiot. He doesn't realize adding a dollar a gallon tax would cause him problems with the union, because they will want a heck of a lot more money to drive to work. He's pushing that agenda to sell more smaller cars. He knows the higher demand for smaller cars will result in the prices of those cars going up by limiting production to not exceed demand, but be just under demand. What he fails to see is, it will hurt GM financially in the long run.

Well, I will never buy another Ford, for any reason, always been a GM guy but this may change my mind.

We all know who put Ackerson in his job. He's not beholden to the board of directors, if you get my drift.

Ackerson is a "yes" man? You've gotta be kidding me? That article didn't point in that direction.

I had been using GM vans in the business for the last few years and had been pleased with them. I also have a Yukon XL that wifey drives and it's been a great car. But between the government/union ownership and now this idiotic statement, I'm quite upset with them.

We'll probably be buying another company truck before the year is out, and I suspect it will be a Ford.

I've always been impressed with our Ford vehicles - hubby has driven nothing but a Ford truck for over 20 years, he still has his 1995 Ford pickup with well over 150,000 miles. I put over 200,000 miles on my Ford Thunderbird and finally gave it to my nephew who drove it another 50,000+ miles before it needed a new transmission. After the T-bird, I drove a Mustang and then an Explorer for years until I finally decided to buy the Lexus.

I'm pretty satisfied with my 2010 Focus. I'd buy another Ford if this one got wrecked or something.

I really love the Mustangs, and also the Fusion and F150 are very nice. I'm spoiled now though, I want leather and Sync. And the Shaker sound, if I can get it.

I won't buy a GM BECAUSE of the government involvement, and I won't buy a Dodge because I think they're crap. Mine was, mom's was, friend's was...never another Mopar/Chrysler/Whatever.

We are a Ford family. I bought my 2005 Ford Expedition brand new in 2005 and it now has 186,000 plus miles and still in great shape and going strong! We also just bought a 2010 Ford Mustang GT500 Shelby that has been great so far. I'm quite sure we will be sticking with Ford.
