One of the things I've always struggled to explain when I teach Biology is the time scale involved in evolution. For example, I was recently asked "When was the first human?" My answer was that change is gradual, but I didn't do a good job. But, this video actually does a good job. For example: "When did you become an adult?" I can't point to a day. It was just a gradual thing. I'm 40 now and an adult. When I was 10, I was not. But, I can't pick out a day in those 30 years where I became an adult.
