These aren't the China bombs. Goodyear tires have been known to suck in the RV community for years. However, this recall is for tires that were manufactured so long ago that it would be amazing if they were still on any RV. My coach, on a Freightliner chassis, came with Goodyear tires size 275/70 R 22.5. They suffered from "rivering", which was basically excessive tread wear on some of the inside tread tracks. It was a common issue that Goodyear avoided doing anything about, and I know several people who had blowouts with Goodyear tires, even when properly inflated. And, my tires were made after the tires under the current recall. I replaced them with Continental tires a couple of years ago, and have had no issues since.
