i am one of those people who takes up those offers and have been on some amazing trips

i just purchased one last week for St Pete Beach and a cruise

So those places are legit? I was guessing they were a hoax or those horrid time share places...

yep.. legit

I am gonna tour one on st pete I paid $129 for and once the tour is complete I get a vocher for a cruise and a$100 visa gift card

I do those a lot.. the last trip to disney was courtesy of Westgate .. loved the big condo we were put in too

Still waiting on my St Pete info..... :whistle

Timeshare is different now... You can go to any place now ... You purchase points and then you spend them. You can even purchase cruises with them

I thought that was how it worked, but since Madea said they used it until their oldest started school.....

We purchased ours back when it was a deeded week. You joined a different group and paid fees to them in order to be able to exchange. We did that a couple of times. They have offered several times to upgrade our ownership, we've just never done it yet.
