Do NOT make fun of me....

Shoes!!!!
though I know you will!

My gf dropped off a bunch of corn on the cob. How do I cook it? Do I just throw it in water? What about putting it on the grill? Do I leave the husk on and how long do I cook? I could Google, but I will get 50 million answers and who knows if they are right?

BTW: I do not eat corn, which is the reason I do not buy it or know how to cook it. The guys do eat it while out so I know they will.

I love corn, any kind of corn, I mean I LOVE corn.
There are many many ways to cook it.
Sometimes the wife puts the corn, on the cob, in this steamer thingy and makes it that way for me.

I LOVE CORN

Why don't you eat corn? After all these years, I honestly can't say with 100% assurance that I know of a single thing you eat. Lol.

As for the corn, boil water, add salt, and cook for about 15 - 20 minutes.

On the grill, wrap individual ears in foil with a seasoned salt and butter. Cook for about 15 - 20 minutes rotating it every few minutes. Enjoy whole on the ear. After roasting on the grill, you can cut the corn off the cob and put it in anything you wish.

It is not really her fault.
What you have to realize is that when Diva's ship landed, they had some trouble and her list of things that humans eat was mostly destroyed.
The list was arranged like a menu, so pretty much all that was left was the adult beverage page on the back.

Thank you so much!

I did not grow up eating corn and once I was older and did eat it I just did not like it. I found it too sweet and and really did not like the taste of it. I do not like popcorn either.

:spitchick Oh my gosh that is too funny! :drunkdiva

You can do them on the grill in foil ... in a pot of boiling water ... in a steamer ... you can even wrap the cleaned ears in Saran wrap and toss them in the microwave.

If your guys like their corn to still have some bite, I wouldn't cook them quite as long. (I don't like mine cooked too much ... hubby prefers his cooked longer.)

If I cook them they will eat them. :)) I don't think they have a preference, just cooked. :dunno

Sorry, I can't help myself: You can cook corn in a box, you can cook corn with a fox, you can even cook corn in your socks.

:laugh

We don't eat corn at my house. There's something wrong with anything that comes out looking like it did when it went in.

Y'all didn't give her the option of cutting it off the cob and making cream corn. :D

When I used to eat corn that was what I always did. It's the bomb!

Wait!! I can cook something that Diva doesn't know how to make? I don't know if I should :laugh or :faint

I just want to tell you that I did as you instructed on the grill and the boys really liked it. Thanks again!

I just realized that I don't know how to make it either. GMO's aside, corn kills my stomach and it has no nutritional value. So I've never bothered with it.
