Disturbing Trend...

I heard the law explained and no where in it does it say you can follow someone who has not attacked you and start an altercation with him. The police dispatcher told Zimmerman that he had no business following the kid and to stand down.
That's the area that should cause Zimmerman trouble ... the dispatcher said that they did not need him to follow the guy.

I heard this morning that he has an arrest history, too. Not sure of any convictions. At least arrested for assaulting an officer and for domestic violence. Also he has apparently called police 49 times in the last year. That alone isn't all that odd given that he is neighborhood watch, though. It does bother me that no alcohol/drug test was done after the shooting. According to all reports I've heard/read, that is standard procedure and that one is going to be problematic for the agency. No matter if he was under the influence of anything or not, you don't break procedure ever but certainly not in such serious circumstances.

I just knew that President Obama would inject himself into this controversy
before the weekend, to be fair he was duly prompted by the wh press corp.

His measured stuttering response was painful to watch,
given his racialist history and his extensive work on behalf
of the anti gun lobby. Even the cautious Barry managed
to botch the entire answer, which should have been a short :

"It would be inappropriate for me to comment on this investigation,
and presumption of innocence, my condolences to the kid's family."

Good grief... this guy is a freakin Harvard lawyer.
(He knows better but cannot hide his true nature.)

Have we seen his transcripts? :))

Easy people, yall are starting to sound like the lame stream media and have already convicted this guy. In the US, a person is considered INICENT until PROVEN guilty in a COURT OF LAW! This case has not even gone to the Grand Jury yet, much less then to trial. We all need to back off on what we think we know and let the criminal justice system run it's course. All the evidence has not been made public and judgements are being made on what the Lame Stream Media wants you to know!

The guy sounds like a turd but I actually just noticed something that I'd like to address:

What "disturbing trend" are we speaking of?

Sorry, I just noticed this comment.

The disturbing trend is that the mainstream media
is promoting a very specific racial political narrative.

Note how coverage of the economy, gas prices,
and presidential race, has dropped off the radar.

(Obama's Russia microphone gaffe was buried yesterday,
and only covered as a late afterthought by the networks.)

Pretty funny how the networks suddenly lost interest in this story,
on the same day that many uncomfortable details began to leak out.

The media is corrupt.

What I find absolutely disgusting is how a reporting this morning was warning about knee-jerk legislative reaction to a single case (unrelated matter ... 18 year old entered into a relationship with a teacher supposedly after leaving the school ...) and the fallout that it could have yet look at what is going on with this case. :huh

What's really disturbing to me on the Martin case is that "members of congress" are seeking to have this tried as a hate crime.

I KNOW!!! What part of THE INVESTIGATION ISN'T FINISHED YET do they not understand? (I know...they do understand and this is just part of their little meme in this election year. Dogs.)

I was listening to Hannity yesterday afternoon and he was talking with two women. When he presented them with the evidence from the police report, eyewitness statements and the 9-1-1 call, they proclaimed it all "suspect". O.M.G!!

You make a good point. It would seem that at some point, they'd just implode from their stupidity.

Anybody know the temperature on the night this happened? Did it require a hoodie?

Like that would matter. I've seen morons wearing hoodies and those stupid boggans pulled down over their ears in 90-degree weather. However, it would be interesting to know.
