They claim voters had to overcome "rampant voter suppression." How was there voter suppression when more voters voted in this last election than ever before? With numbers like that, it appears a lot of people who may have not been eligible to vote voted.
This "For the People Act" should be titled "For the Socialist Act" because it allows for same day voter registration to occur - making it possible for someone to register to vote and then vote all on election day. Let's say this passes and it is discovered a month or so after a president is elected or re-elected, was so with 25% of their received votes from people who it turns out were not eligible to vote because they were not citizens of the country? Can you take away that 25% of votes after it's discovered even if that person has been sworn into office if it means they actually lost?
To allow people to vote on the same day they registered allows for voter fraud. There are other issues involved in this proposal as well. The bottom line is the Democrats are trying to make it legal for them to cheat.
