I haven't read his reasons, but hopefully re came to his senses as to what the Democratic Party really is.

OK, the GOP isn't much better. But there might be a shred of hope for them.
 
I am sick of all parties and really do not see that they will survive in the future. Everyone has turned to lies/false promises for what will work out best for them, and everyone is ugly towards one another. It is sad and I only see it getting worse.

I hope they don't survive. But unless we make some careful changes to the Electoral College (and there's danger in that), the two party system will likely go on.

I don't think it should be winner take all the electoral votes in a presidential election. Whatever candidate one in a congressional district gets that electoral vote. The only winner take all should be the two electoral votes for the senate seats of a state.
 
could you imagine a european style coalition government? itd be interesting yet terrifying. wed have to have a ton of parties though.
