So the Democrat debate is coming up on Tuesday night... what is your take on the left field ? ? ?

:dunno :dunno :dunno

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: I believe that any one of our candidates will stand in stark contrast, when it comes to the priorities of the American people and how they’re going to make their decision on who they’re going to vote for for President, to any of the Republican candidates. The Republicans are trying to out-right wing each other. Look, between the fifteen Republican candidates who are left — all of whom are trying to out-Trump Donald Trump — by saying, “Yeah let’s kick women. Let’s kick them and immigrants out of this country. Let’s take away health care from women.” … Yes, I think any of the candidates on our side of the aisle … will be chosen and eventually elected as the 45th president of the United States of America because of that contrast.

I find it interesting that the media and Democratic party keep moving the goalposts to keep Mr. Lessig out of the debate. Unlike the Republican field, there aren't many people, so why not let him in?

I don't care for the guy overall, but I do like that he wants to keep big money out of politics. But they want to shut him up for that reason.

I've never heard of him until now. The DNC is all in for HRC at this point.

Is Trump going to be in the Democrat debate? He is a democrat, right?

:snick_bunny

He could only help them. And read his position papers on his web site. He's not a Democrat. You weirdo. :D

I think the DNC would drop her like Howard Dean if Biden entered the race.

I agree. Hillary lost her chance in the last election.

I heard they were going to have a podium available of Biden decided to show up. Now what an entrance into the race that would be; announce your candidacy by showing up to the debate. That would get Clinton's goat (translation: that would tick Clinton's wife Hillary off).

I doubt I can stand to watch. I can't afford a new TV after I throw something at it.
This is the only debate for the Dems that will be conducted on a week night; the others will be held during weekends, which will guarantee low ratings. At this debate the focus of the candidates will most likely be on the government providing more "free" stuff, not things like job creation. "As president what would you do to improve the economy?" Answer of any candidate: "I think providing each and every high school graduate a free college education will make it possible for them to obtain higher paying jobs." As president how would you handle ISIS; "I think giving them a free college education will make it possible for them to obtain higher paying jobs." As preelsident, would you push for modification to the ACA or push for single-payer; "If we provide everyone a free college education they will be able to obtain better paying jobs and they would be able to obtain better paying jobs to where they can afford to pay more taxes."

And they'll conveniently omit any reference to those illusive high paying jobs and lack of participation in paying taxes for many in their voter camp.

I'll be watching to see Webb and O'Malley. If Hillary picks Webb as her running mate, they will be hard to beat.

I think that once again the election is the Republican's to lose, not the Democrat's to win. The Dems are running the same tired old campaign, in fact they are even turning further left this year. They have a 50's Socialist, an ex-president's wife, a buffoon, A Harvard law professor whose claim to fame is as a Democrat fund raiser, and two ex-governors and an ex-senator looking for a new job. Chaffee is probably their most reasoned candidate, so he doesn't stand a chance. But of course once again the Republicans are doing everything in their power to insure a Democrat victory, and if history tells us anything, it is that the republicans will indeed find a way to lose a national election.
