With the weather being crappy with this tropical storm. Crockpot Beef & Broccoli today. Just put the rice in the steamer. Tomorrow making a batch of Broccoli Cheese Soup. BTW, fresh broccoli was on sale this week!! :thumbsup
 
I'm not ready for cold weather yet. So to laugh in the face of the cold front, I'm cooking pork chops on the charcoal grill. They are soaking in the brine right now.
 
I am ready for the cold weather! It is almost November, bring it on! :cheer1 Crockpot cooking will start happening here soon too.
 
I scored the crockpot I've been wanting at Ross today! $60 Crockpot for $30! Yay me! :cheer1 Putting together this week's crockpot meals tomorrow! :cheer1

Today I wish I had te stuff for chili or some kind of soup. But I am not going anywhere. I'm too cold to wear anything but my flannel pants. LOL
 
Mrs. Mac plans to make steak and potatoe soup today, I don't think she is going to use a crockpot tho'

I've got 3 crockpot meals on the menu this week to try out in my new crockpot! :cheer1 Since the boys are still playing football, we'll practice 3 nights and it's going to be C.O.L.D. We are having a pot roast, Hawaiian chicken and honey garlic chicken. I'm trying all new recipes, so I hope they are good!

I did dumplings tonight as well! Tomorrow is homemade vegetable soup with cornbread (natch). HOO LAW!!! Good enough to slap yer maw down! :D

We had pioneer woman's chicken tortilla soup yesterday.
It was AWESOME!
Tonight is her Salisbury steak and gravy.

Turned out good. I'd used low sodium soy sauce next time as it was a bit salty
