Loved it! Great plot, well written characters with some twists that I did not expect. The book is a page turner and now I'm anxiously awaiting for the next Grey Colson adventure!

You are TOO kind! 8) You read pretty fast. We are about 60k words into Nightmare Merchants. It's a little more complex, but I hope you like it. It will be mid to late 2013 for the ebook release. Thank you again. I appreciate my dear readers. :thumbsup

I usually only take a couple of days to read a book I'm really into. I really did like it, and now the hubs wants to read it.

We will have a 3 hour teleconference today with Brighton for the print edition book launch :DN

That seems like a very long conversation, but I look forward to it. It's supposed to be about marketing strategies and so forth. The ebook sales have gone pretty well and steady, but I know it can be better. I do still believe that there will be more interest in a print edition because e-readers are still very new to people. At least, that's the feedback I am receiving.

I had a message from a customer just yesterday, asking if the book could be read on her iPad. Some people are still believing only a Kendle or Nook have book reading applications.

Anyway, I have a lot to do around the house and yard today, but I'm excited about the teleconference and will let you know how it goes. ;D

I was telling my sister about the book yesterday. She doesn't have an ereader and prefers to actually hold a book, like myself. I'm gonna buy her a book when it comes out in print.

Thanks, Deewee!

I was happy to read the 10th review on Amazon this morning. I haven't checked in weeks and was surprised to see another one. Everyone has been very supportive and it means the world to me. 8)

This review is from: CODE OF MISCONDUCT "Conduct Unbecoming" (Grey Colson) (Kindle Edition)

Talk about a book leaving you at the edge of your seat. I just finished reading it and it was definitely a page turner. The last few chapters left me holding my breath. I could NOT put the book down and had to finish it so I read late into the wee hours of the night..ha ha.

I originally wrote a preliminary review about Code of Misconduct when I first started reading the book, but now that I finished it...well, I had to edit that review and just say I sure hope Chris writes a sequel. Grey Colson is an unforgettable character and it would be great to see more stories about his "retirement". His daughter Nichole, and her husband Bobby are also characters I would like to see again.

Between the great characters and the action packed storyline I really think it would make a great TV series. So much action, yet the tenderness of a man (Grey Colson)who has lost his wife and trying to just get on with life in his retirement. I do hope Chris writes another book and let the characters come alive. I will definitely be watching for one.

If you love police novels you will love this story.

Just checkin to make sure I didnt miss the release of the print version. If you would please send me a message when its available. I still want a autographed copy.

Thanks WW. I just posted about the call I received today regarding approval of the first proof copy. It's been through several delays, but we seem to be beyond that now. ;D
