Trump will get the most attention because he's currently in the lead. Until folks take a long hard look at WHY he's in the lead, nothing new will be accomplished.

Great minds :

Actually, your guy misses that Cruz is anti-amnesty. His ideas most closely align with mine, but I do fear he's too conservative to be elected. But I do like him.

I like him as well, but he has several negatives, such as voting for the stupid fast track Corker bill. He has also closely aligned himself with Trump.

I could be wrong, but I see it as less of an "alignment" with Trump and more of "he's the only one smart enough not to get into a boxing match with Trump". :laugh And I believe that once Trump realized that Cruz would stick to the issues and not jump into the fray and take jabs at him, he embraced Cruz.

I do agree. I think Cruz was smart enough to know that Trump would knock him out so he kept his mouth shut. As a result Trump decided he was okay to have him around.

I'll be closely watching to see how Carley and Carson both do during this one. My concern with Carson is that he's a doctor, outside of the medical field what has he really accomplished? Donald and Carley have both been successful in the business world and have led major corporations. On the other hand, our country is in need of a qualified surgeon to reverse our country's recent vasectomy.
:laugh :laugh

A debate of people that are begging for the job of running our country, that truth be told, we wouldn't let them run an elected county job.
The only one talking sense is a wacko, egomaniac that is only concerned with himself.
What a sad thing it is that this is the best lineup we can put forth.

My biggest reason for not supporting the Libertarian party was their view on drugs and a couple other issues, but I am now thinking that they are the only party with any sense.

You never know. They haven't run a true conservative since Reagan.

This first debate would be entertaining if any of these 4 guys had any chance of winning.

I actually do think Trump has a chance of winning. I also think Carson does.

That's probably it from the first batch. Maybe a slight chance for Rubio and Cruz

By "first debate" I mean the one happening right now with Pataki, Graham, Jindal, and Santorum.

Ah, gotcha.

Yeah, not a snowball's chance.

I think I'll enjoy this fire a while longer. I just can't get into the Clinton News Network holding a Republican debate right this minute.

The only one of these 4 that would be reasonable is Jindal.

This is already getting silly.
That is why we have you to give us the details, so we do not have to participate in the silliness, that is to be our president. :faint

Not watching.
If I wanted to watch someone that cares only about themselves, lie to me, I would go see the ex.
At least she actually kissed me a few times.

John Kasich is a moron. Scott Walker and Carly Fiorina are talking a good game, but you get the sense they don't really understand the situations they're talking about. So far it's PILE ON TRUMP night.

As an aside, I still like Jake Tapper. He's the only journalist I have ANY respect for on any network these days.

I think everyone called that one.

I said this during the last debate but I really don't like Cruz's speaking style. I feel like he's preaching with everything he says.

:agreed I think there are many vocal people wanting Cruz, but I do not think he has a chance. (of winning the Presidency, getting the GOP nod? Maybe.)
