His response: “We like to say ‘peoplekind,' not necessarily ‘mankind,' because it’s more inclusive.”

For one there is no such word as "peoplekind." Most importantly the definition for mankind is "human beings considered collectively; the human race," which is inclusive of all people.
 
You know, its funny how science fiction sometimes predicts stuff like this.

One book I read had the premise that there had been a biologic war between the colonies of the Earth and that afterwards, the women decided that men (males) were the cause of it all, so the women revolted. Men could no longer vote, hold office, etc.

The part I thought was funny was where they even decided that having the name "Johnson" and "Anderson" had evil male references in them, so they changed the names to "Johnfem" and "Anderfem". I remember reading how idiotic that sounded and how no one would ever do that.

Then I see what you posted. Idiots.
