Busy Week...

This is one of the six training weeks scheduled and as unluck would have it, I was put in week one. An entire week of 10 hour days shooting, running through active shooter scenarios, legal updates, defensive tactics, first aid and IED recertification, breaching class and....a grandchild trying to escape from Alcatraz.

And it all starts in 1 hour from now! Well, the classes that is...

If there's nothing else unique about this agency, it's the training. I can say without question that I've been involved in more training from these Cobb PD guys in the last 2 years than I ever had with the SO in my last 15 years. I'm sure that's a good thing, but I have no doubt that a younger dude would enjoy it more.

In short...I'll be a little busy and not be able to visit you crazy drivers for a few days. Be safe!

No kidding. 4 straight hours of DT with their best instructor reminded me of that today. Nothing like some good ol ground and pound to make me Advil ready!

Still in training for 10 hours today, but was off yesterday for Charlotte's first birthday. We are so thankful to God that she was born healthy and beautiful. I'm busy all day but will post pics when possible.
