Busy Day Working on New Project

I'm putting down new flooring in my house.

Here are some before pics.

I've hit my head on this light about 50 times today.

Here's the flooring with what I have done in the dining room for now.

Now back to work.

What are you doing with the carpet you are taking up? Is it reusable?

The carpet isn't reusable. I got it into 2' strips so it would be easier for me to carry out after I rolled it up.

Yes, it's laminate. It's Pergo's Potomac Hickory. I bought the stuff last August before I left for Afghanistan because it was half off. Yesterday, I found out why it was half off; it's no longer in production. I bought it at Home Depot and I wish they would inform their customers when stuff like this on sale because the vendor is discontinuing production. Many times people buy it to do a little at a time because they can't afford to do it all at once. Now I'm going to have to find something else that matches pretty darn close when I go to do my stairs and the rooms upstairs.
