Bud Light partners with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney for March Madness: 'This isn't a parody'

I quit buying Nike when they supported Kapernick and his racist antics.

I still wear the Nike gear that I have (shoes & shorts.... some training shirts too.), but haven't purchased any in years.

and..... I've run two full marathons and a bunch of half-marathons..... and other road races (yes, I'm slow).

Nike running shoes are trash.
I've run in Asics, Mizuno & Saucony (mostly Asics) & Nike running shoes are the absolute worst. Quintessential style over substance.
The only athletic shoes I ever wear are Asics Gels. The others give me bone spurs on my heels. They are a solid "10" in my book.

He's influencing the wrong direction.
A lot of people say this, but others think it is all shtick to keep the views going. Right now he has a niche in that market, and if you are getting thousands of dollars a month for it,, he'll keep the pedal to the floor. He has taken female impersonation to the next level in entertainment.

Are they fairly lightweight? I have some really old shoes I need to replace, but everything I look at seems really heavy compared to them and I want to start walking again.

Very light, I couldn't get the bathroom scales to register. I tried weighing with and without shoes and got a .8 lb difference for both shoes. The big advantage is being able to stand on a hard surface all day and not have sore feet or legs.

Those are the brand I purchase. I have a high arch. They are the right shape so that it does not cut off the blood flow and put my toes to sleep by having too much pressure on the top of my arch.

I can't boycott Nike since I never was a consumer. I have never bought Nike merchandise.

I never bought Nike for my kids either. They liked skater and surf brands like DC, etnies, Volcom, Bilabong, RVCA, Hurley, Reef, O'neal, and Lost.

Cool. Academy in Hiram seems to have a good selection in wide (which I need for my bunions). I'll head down there and check them out. Thanks.

Interesting thought... how to pick up more people to your product new demographic

Their new demographic=the folks who ‘think’ they’re supposed to go along to get along.

Remember the virtue signalers that advertised ‘hate has no home here’ during Covid with their banal signs, while hoping the unvaccinated were sent to a leper colony or worse ? Them

Those who drove with a mask on in their car? . Them

Those who posted a picture with their mask on in their social media avatar? Them

Those who want to groom children.... THEM

I'm sure A/B thought that was what they were doing, trying to reach out to a new demographic. But they might have miscalculated who their existing customer base was and what their reaction would be.
