I always received a few days for my birthday so it would not get lost in Valentines Day, husband started with a week and it evolved into the month when he started picking up things right after Christmas. He had enough for it! :))
His birthday is in July and we always throw a big pool party for him and he feels like I get left out of having that type of celebration. I like this better! :))

My wife's birthday is Dec. 26th, so you know her birthday gets lost in Christmas.
What your husband is doing for you gives me an idea about my wife.

My husband's too! His mom always just wrapped his gift in Christmas paper, and as they were opening gifts on Christmas Day, she would yell out, "Don't open that one. It's for tomorrow."

It is actually a tote. It has a back zippered pocket for folders. Cellphone pocket, a place for pens, your keys, one other zipper pocket and is big enough for a laptop! I did look at it at Christmas, but passed it up. I guess husband did not. :love I think you would put one to good use!

(But he would buy me a purse too! :)) )

Yeah, don't give up on him. Even my hubby has bought purses for me before. He's pretty good at it - I've only had to return one (it was white, I don't like white purses).

Your tote is wonderful! But, (while your husband did a good job) I would not want my husband purchasing a purse for me.
