Atlanta Braves 2017

I said back before the season started that the Braves would finish a close 2nd in the division. My friends thought I was the crazy one.
 
Braves are now 40-41. Almost at .500! Only 7 games behind the Nationals.

First place...here we come! ......No, I haven't been drinking.
 
Freddie is back tonight! I predict he'll hit one home run and a double.



...and have 4 errors at third base. :D
 
Not really a fair comparison. Houston is playing in the majors while Atlanta is still in AA.
 
I don't know, I guess you just can't buy or manufacturer magic, and that was the only explanation for Super Braves of the 90's. Now they just spend money on a disappointing string of downhill players and rookies while trading away the minor stars. Maybe some day...
 
This is crazy. The Braves/Nationals game was scheduled to start at 7PM but Nationals delayed it due to impending rain. Over 2 hours later and it just started a light rain. The game could be in the 7th or 8th inning by now.
