At least 100 dead as Hamas launches unprecedented attack on Israel, Netanyahu says nation is 'at war'

Hard to ignore that we are in the End Times. I am in the camp that believes the only reason Christ has not yet returned is due to the longsuffering of God who is waiting for anyone and everyone to hear and have an opportunity to accept the Gospel before He literally drops the Heavenly Hammer.

The Queen and I have had this same discussion a few times recently. I’ve never been one to dwell on the coming Rapture mainly because nobody knows the date or time and we are to be prepared. Saying that, oddly this has been forefront on my mind for the last few months. So much so that I’ve had discussions about it with all of our family members urging them to make sure they’re sure. If anyone here isn’t sure then there are plenty of people to DM for further discussion.

He is coming again…and I feel it’s sooner than we expect.

There are news reports out now saying 600 Americans are being blocked from entering Egypt from Gaza by Hamas. Apparently, the 600 were in Gaza when Hamas began their attack on Israel. Republican Senator Jim Risch told reporters last week that 10 Americans were being held hostage by Hamas. Why are we just now hearing about the 600?

I can't help but remember back in 1990, after Iraq invaded Kuwait, a teenage Kuwaiti girl known at the time only by her first name Nayirah, testified before a Congressional Human Rights caucus how she witnessed Iraqi soldiers leaving babies to die while they took the incubators from a Kuwait hospital. This was before the US got involved. After Desert Storm, it was learned that Nayirah was the daughter of Kuwait's ambassador to the US. It was revealed her testimony was orchestrated for the Citizens for a Free Kuwait public relations campaign run by the American public relations firm Hill & Knowlton for the Kuwait Government. The campaign was to outrage the American people enough to support our military to attack Iraq and drive them out of Kuwait.

I can't help but suspect that because we were given no knowledge of the 600 much earlier, the Biden administration may be lying to us so that we support an American invasion of Gaza. This would spark WW III.

I fear we'll end up in a full blown war. Pretty sure that's been the plan all along.

‘Uptick’ in rocket attacks against U.S. forces in Middle East, says White House

Sad but true. It will be more than just in the Middle East. Once the US involves our military resources to assist Israel, China will take Taiwan, and North Korea will cross the DMZ and invade South Korea. Then there is Russia.

Turkey's Erdogan calls Hamas a 'liberation group'

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan referred to Hamas terrorists as a "liberation group" trying to protect the Palestinian people.
In an address to his ruling party’s legislators on Wednesday, Erdogan also said he has canceled plans to visit Israel as part of his country’s policy of normalizing its relations with the Jewish state, adding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had “misused our goodwill.”
Erdogan sharpened his criticisms of Israel, describing the siege of Gaza as one of the "bloodiest, most disgusting and most savage attacks in history."
“We have no problem with the Israeli state, but we never have, and never will, accept the atrocities committed by Israel and the fact that it acts as an organization rather than a state,” he said.
The Turkish leader called for an immediate cease-fire, for humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza and for talks for the release of hostages to begin. He also suggested the establishment of an international peace conference for Israel and the Palestinians.
“All sides must pull their fingers off the trigger, a cease-fire must be declared,” he said.

I'm looking for the Al Aqsa Mosque - Dome of the Rock to be destroyed and a new temple will be built at that sight. It is more than a territorial prize and I believe its going to happen soon.

Pisses me off when I think of my brother doing an emergency Christmas deployment to turkey with his Patriot Battery group to save their butts about 10 years ago. It was supposed to be a 3 month deployment, ended up being something like 9 months before he came back.

I think this was it:

Providing Turkey with air and missile defenses has been an important mission especially since the Gulf War when Turkey asked NATO for the first time to send air defenses to protect them from possible retaliatory SCUD missile strikes from Saddam Hussein. The United States, Germany, and the Netherlands heeded the call, each deploying Patriot missile systems under a NATO flag. The Patriot air and missile defense system was designed during the Cold War with an air defense mission but earned fame during the Gulf War as a point missile defense system against SCUDs. Afterwards, it became the benchmark to meet for air and missile defense systems. From that point on, Turkey approached NATO for air and missile defense whenever their neighborhood got hot, most recently in 2013 during the fighting in Syria, when NATO allies deployed the Patriot or the Eurosam SAMP/T missile defense systems to the Turkish border.

This is interesting but not surprising. A California city council passed a resolution blaming Israel after Hamas attacks. These Palestinian supporters are in an uproar, accusing Israel of genocide and killing children. They forget that Hamas fired more than 7K missiles into Israel first. Hamas soldiers crossed into Israel and murdered innocent men, women, and children. All that was done before Israel fired a single shot or missile.

Israel gave a 48-hour warning for Palestinians to leave Gaza, but Hamas won't let them because they want to use their own people as human shields. It's not Israel here being the bad guys. It's Hamas. If Hamas hadn't launched this war, all those who died on both sides would be alive.

BTW. Following the Fatah-Hamas conflict 2006, Hamas formed a government ruling the Gaza Strip without elections. Gazan Prime Minister Haniyye announced in September 2012 the formation of a second Hamas government without elections. The Palestinian people are oppressed by a regime that wants to kill all Jews.

The U.S. House of Representatives adopted a resolution condemning the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel on Wednesday.

The vote passed 412-10. Six members, all Democrats, voted 'present'. The resolution marked the first non-Speaker related vote by the House since October 3.

The war between Israel and Hamas terrorists has been raging since October 7, when Hamas fighters launched a surprise attack on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. More than 1,400 people in Israel have been killed.

Roughly 222 hostages were taken from Israel into Gaza, and only four have been released.

Just nine Democrats voted against the measure: Reps. Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Cori Bush (Mo.), Jamaal Bowman (N.Y.), André Carson (Ind.), Al Green (Texas), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Summer Lee (Pa.), Delia Ramirez (Ill.) and Ilham Omar (Minn.). The tenth vote against it was Thomas Massie (R-KY). Six other Democrats opted to vote “present”: Reps. Greg Casar (TX), Joaquin Castro (TX), Jesús Garcia (IL), Pramila Jayapal (WA), Ayanna Pressley (MA), and Nydia Velázquez (NY).

A pair of delegations from Iran and Hamas have descended on Moscow, where Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s subordinates are huddling with Israel’s enemies as the war in Gaza threatens to expand.

“The talks focused on the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the strategies to halt Israeli crimes, which are backed by the U.S. and many Western nations,” Hamas announced on its English-language Telegram channel.

Russian officials confirmed the visit, saying the meeting with Hamas was focused on “continuation of the Russian course towards the release of foreign hostages present in the Gaza Strip.” That conversation featured Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, according to Hamas, and Russia also confirmed that another deputy foreign minister hosted a senior Iranian official.

"I can confirm that today, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister [Mikhail] Galuzin met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister [Ali] Bagheri Kani," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
