Assault type weapons

The new buzz term for the left. No matter how much we explain to them that an AR-15 is really no different from a semi-automatic deer rifle, they can't accept that fact.

So now it's an "Assault Type" weapon simply because it looks like a scawwy military weapon.

What ever happened to logic and common sense?

Do you know how many M-1's "accidentally disappeared" from military inventory or were sold a surplus after WWII? There were so many that after the US left combat in Korea, the South Koreans began buying them on the open market and have a stockpile to this day. The thing is, if you put the actual military M-1 next to a civilian AR-15, 99 out of 100 liberals would identify the AR as the military weapon.
