Asparagus.... Bleck!!

Canned asparagus is just nasty!! I just thought I would share...
 
I love it fresh, and just about any way you prepare it. But, I have never had the nerve to even try it canned.
 
Yes,canned is disgusting. Mushy. I like it fresh and crunchy like. Asparagus pee is :sick , though.

Don't try it! For whatever reason, I thought it would be good to have with my lunch today. I love fresh asparagus, but this is terrible!! It's mushy green nastiness!!!
 
I've only used the canned asparagus for cooking and in dips. I know I couldn't eat that mushy stuff. We do have an asparagus bed but this winter was so crazy most of it bolted before I could get any cut.
 
Love fresh asparagus! The canned stuff is so gross, I don't even know how that stuff sells. Puke!
 
I never even thought to look for asparagus in a can! Well glad to know I can continue not looking for it! LOL
