American basketball star Brittney Griner detained in Russia on drug charges, faces up to 10 years in prison

If she broke their laws, then she deserve to pay a price. I'm sure they were all warned about taking in contraband and she did it anyway. The question is if she understood the Hashish oil was illegal there. Don't be surprised if the Russians let her off with a fine and time served as an act of contrition and further diplomacy toward sanctions. A lot of people think they should make an example of her,,, I don't care what they do as it's her own damn fault for being over there to begin with.

Absolutely. I just hope this isn't retribution for all that's going on.
 
Never heard of her. Who is stupid enough to travel or be in possession of illegal contraband in a foreign country? If she was unaware it was illegal she deserves to be punished for being a dumb ass of epic proportion. As for congress woman Jackson even though you are for illegals having no consequences for violating U.S. laws Moscow ain't in the U.S.
