Amazon Shipping

Well, AZL is actually doing a good job these days. Almost always on time, and their personnel are courteous.

The USPS, when they are still used, is doing a good job.

UPS is HORRIBLE! Every time Amazon ships one of my packages with UPS there is a problem. Most recently, I ordered a new printer for work last week. It was due to be delivered to my house yesterday by 9:00 PM.

I get a message at around 9:00 that it's running late. They I get an update from UPS at about 10:00 PM that the delivery has been rescheduled for Wednesday. Really? Four days later? Just how badly did they screw it up?

There was another package from Amazon that was due yesterday via UPS, it's now scheduled for Tuesday.

Add to this that they often deliver to the wrong address, they got a truck stuck in my back yard and had to send a wrecker to pull it out, they drove through my front yard and left ruts. Wish I could request that Amazon not use them.

I agree shipping through UPS has been horrible lately. We have some employees who don't have direct deposit and get paid by check. Their checks are sent to the stores via UPS and normally arrive on Thursday to be given to the employees on Friday. They didn't arrive Thursday, nor did they arrive on Friday. UPS informed us they would arrive on Tuesday. The checks were mistakenly taken to a different hub delaying delivery. The employees are pissed. We emphasized with them they really should get a bank account and get direct deposit.

Update.

One package got here today.

As for the printer that was supposed to be here Sunday, I got a message that they tried to deliver it but couldn't. That's BS, we were here and there's plenty of room for their truck to get in here and turn around.

So I check back with Amazon tonight, and it seems that the carrier (UPS) is returning the package to Amazon, and refund is being issued.

WTH? They never even tried to deliver it! We were at home all day!!

I reordered it, due to come in this Saturday. We'll see if it gets here.

Did I mention that UPS sucks?

Have never had problems with UPS, Amazon or Fed Ex. Have had issues with USPS delivering to a duplicate box number in the area. Completely different street name but duplicate box number.

Never had problems with UPS until recently when an entire truckload of stuff was sent to the wrong hub. Fedex was always a problem because they didn't look for the house, or when they did they drove through the yard,,, then took seven months to pay for it. USPS was always like the slowboat from China. Now it seems to be the most dependable short time shipper, don't know why. Like others, I wish we were given the option to choose the shipping agent.

Update on the first printer I ordered.

The previous message said it was being sent back and I would get a refund. I did get the refund last week.

Woke up to an email that it was being delivered today. Clicked on the tracking button, and it takes me to Amazon's website, where it is listed as Undeliverable.

Clicked on the "Track with UPS" button, and it says out for delivery.....in Walton, KY.

They screwed the pooch on this one!
